The Organisation
YCH is split into three directorates, Housing, Finance and Property, who are all responsible to the Chief Executive. Within these directorates are separate teams easily identifiable by the roles they perform. A full organisational chart can be downloaded by clicking here.
Housing Directorate
The largest of the Directorates, the teams that are working under the Director of Housing Services are: Allocations, Arrears, Care Services, Customer Initiatives, The Northern Area Office and Tenancy Services. Generally speaking these teams are responsible for delivering services for customer, and ensuring that YCH delivers high levels of customer care.
Property Directorate
Any queries regarding the actual condition of the properties, right to buy or right to acquire applications and any planned or cyclical maintenance programmes are handled by the Property Team. This directorate is designed to ensure the properties are kept up to government standards.
Finance Directorate
This is a small team that deals with all monetary incomings and out goings, ensuring that YCH always delivers value for money.
