The Board
Yorkshire Coast Homes is managed by a board of 15 unpaid volunteer directors who decide the policies of the association and monitor how well we are doing.
This is our board:
- Five independent directors - selected by the board from volunteers who have relevant skills
- Five Scarborough Borough Council directors - nominated by the Council
- Five tenant directors - voted for by tenants
Board directors retire from the board by rotation every three years but can be re-elected. We do not set maximum terms of office for individual board directors, but have regard to guidance that they should serve not more than three, three-year terms.
