Housing Surgeries
Yorkshire Coast Homes runs a regular drop-in surgery in Filey, at:
Customer First, John Street, Filey.
Held by Jenny Stephenson at the Customer First / Tourist Information Centre on the 3rd Wednesday of every month at 11pm. This is an opportunity for tenants of Filey to meet with their Housing Officer to discuss any issues they may have surrounding their tenancy.
Tenant and Resident Associations
Throughout the Borough a number of Tenant and Resident Associations operate with the support of Yorkshire Coast Homes. The following are associations that all meet regularly, and anyone who is a tenant or resident of that area is welcome to attend.
Barrowcliff
Barrowcliff Residents Association, St Marks Church, Green Lane; Meetings held every 3rd Tuesday in the month at 7PM, excluding December when no meeting is held.
Edgehill
Edgehill Tenants and Residents Association, Falsgrave Community Resource Centre; Meetings held every last Thursday in the month at 7PM.
Castle Ward
Castle Ward Tenants and Residents Association, The Business Centre, Auborough Street; Meetings held every last Tuesday in the month at 7PM, excluding July and August.
Eastfield
Eastfield Residents Association, The Link Walk Centre; Meetings held on the 1st Wednesday of the month at 3:30PM.
Newby
Newby Community Action Group, Gatesgarth Close Communty Centre; Meetings held on a Thursday, however not in a particular pattern, but decided between the members at the end of the current meeting at a time to suit attendees.
Sandybed
Sandybed Tenants and Residents Association use a variety of venues in the area, and alter times to ensure that the meetings can remain accessible for the community. Residents are notified by flyers informing them of the date, time and venue for each meeting.
Filey
Filey and District Tenants and Residents Association meet at the Evron Centre Filey (usually room 11), meetings are held every two months, dates and times publicised in the local press and via flyers distributed to local organisations and services.
