Yorkshire Coast Homes is a Housing Association and a registered charity.  It is a not-for-profit housing organisation which is regulated by the Housing Corporation. It was set up in 2003 to take over the ownership and management of Scarborough Borough Council's 4,500 rented housing properties following a positive ballot by the tenants.

Introducing the Scarborough Health Trainers - 05.02.2010

If you are looking to make changes to your lifestyle or want to improve your health, you may want to speak to the NHS Health Trainers, who will be able to offer guidance, support and encouragement to help you reach your goals.

The Health Trainers are part of a new NHS scheme, and are able to provide assistance to a variety of issues, such as healthy eating, physical activity, stress and anxiety, substance misuse, smoking or sexual health for FREE!

Anyone over the age of 18 living in the Scarborough Town area can refer themselves to the service. Since they started in October they have proved to be a valuable asset to people looking to make lasting changes to their lifestyle.

Anyone interested in speaking to a Health Trainer should contact the Health Trainers direct on 0800 917 7752.

Remember it’s never too late to change your lifestyle for the better!
