Warden Service
YCH helps to support people to live independently in the community for as long as possible. It therefore offers this service to all of its tenants at a level of support relevant to an individual’s needs. The weekly cost varies according to the level of support chosen, although financial help to cover the weekly cost may be available dependent on your circumstances.
Alternatively, our Coastcall communication service may be appropriate for your needs. This service offers the reassurance of knowing that in an emergency or serious situation, help can be summoned 24 hours a day. For further details of either scheme, including costs, please contact the warden team on 01723 343075.
Aids and adaptations
As part of YCH’s ongoing commitment to enable people to live independently, we can carry out alterations to meet your specific needs if you are having difficulty due to a disability.
Depending on the scale of the works, we may need you to contribute towards the works or/and obtain the recommendation of an occupational therapist.
