Private Tenants Group
A local private tenants group has changed its name to Organisation of Private Tenants (OPT). At an extraordinary meeting of Scarborough Private Tenants Rights Group on 10/1/2012 it was decided to change the name of the group. OPT campaigns for private tenants in the borough of Scarborough. Membership is open to all private tenants and supporters.
The group meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7.30pm at the Tap and Spile pub on Falsgrave Road, Scarborough. The Chairman of the group said: "We have just celebrated our first year and plan to continue to work hard for professionally managed, secure, decent and affordable private rented homes."
