Money Management
YCH now have a dedicated officer to help with any financial difficulties or problems that our customers may be experiencing. Our Money Management Officer can advise on the benefits that you are entitled to and could be claiming; provide debt advice and agree repayment plans, as well as providing guidance on successful budgeting. Any YCH tenant or leaseholder can access the service, however some cases will be via referrals from other YCH departments.
Anyone who is not under referral can access the service directly by attending one of the drop in sessions that will be held regularly across the Borough. A full list of where and when these sessions will be held will appear on the website shortly.
Where help cannot be given by the Money Management Officer referrals will be made to independant organisations such as Stonham, Citizens Advice Bureau or HARP depending on the individuals circumstances.
