Coastcall
Coastcall is a 24 hour communication and “Good Neighbour” service primarily for the elderly, disabled or other vulnerable people enabling them to remain living independently in their own home in the Borough of Scarborough. The service is available to tenants in sheltered and general housing, as well as owner-occuppiers.
Coastcall offers you the reassurance of knowing that in an emergency or serious difficulty, help can be summoned 24 hours a day and 365 days a year at the press of a button or by calling Scarborough Borough Council’s Control Centre on 01723 351558.
Whatever you call for, an immediate response is guaranteed. The type of response is determined by the nature of the problem. The friendly and skilled staff at the Control Centre can alert the emergency services (Fire, Police or Ambulance) contact a Doctor, personal carer, a nominated friend or relative, or send a mobile warden out to your home. You may just feel the need for a reassuring voice at the end of the phone.
